Photo Series III
Having never really worked with black and white photography (Mostly due to the amount of generic garbage b/w out there), I wasn’t really sure at all what I would do initially. One night on a walk, I saw this really strange looking tipped over tree, and knew exactly what I would do for this project. I edited this series mostly using distance maps to remove details, while adding noise to create a strong sense of obscurity.
